Payments
- If you are paying with a check please make the check payable to Sparkle Cleaning, and leave the check for us in a sealed envelope.
- Payment is due the day of service or within 24 hours if paying electronically.
Important Notes About Our Cleaning Services
- We will supply everything needed to do the job. If you wish to have something specific used please leave it out for the cleaners.
- If bedding is a part of your service, we ask that you strip the dirty bedding and leave the fresh linens on the beds.
- Please pick up as much as possible so the team can focus on cleaning the floors and surfaces.
- If you leave dishes in the sink we will kindly work around them to clean and sanitize your sink area. Dishes can be very time-consuming and that is not part of the service we provide.

- Please close any doors to rooms that you don’t want cleaned.
- If you have pets that could be aggressive, please place them in a separate area when we arrive.
- If you have special requests, please leave a note on the kitchen counter for the cleaners.
- Due to our flexible and ever-changing schedule and Portland-area traffic, it is often difficult to commit to exact arrival times, therefore WE DO NOT GUARANTEE ARRIVAL TIMES TO ANYONE.We service homes between the hours of 8:15 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Even if you normally have an afternoon cleaning, there may be times that we need to clean your home in the morning instead. If you need an approximate time of arrival please call our cell number, (207) 807-6697 after 8:00 a.m. the day of your cleaning, or during business hours the day before (8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.), for our guesstimate based on that day’s scheduling. We will make every attempt to narrow our arrival time estimate down to a 2-hour window based on that day’s workload.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
We will be happy to reschedule or cancel your cleaning; however, we do require a 48-hour rescheduling notice. There is no charge for changes made with a 48-hour notice on BUSINESS days (M-F, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm).
If you wish to cancel or reschedule within the 48-hour window you will be responsible for the entire cost of the cleaning. For example, if you have a Monday cleaning scheduled and you cancel over the weekend you will be responsible for the entire fee as we are closed on the weekend and will not be able to fill the spot.
- If you choose to skip a visit, the price may increase likely as you were going longer in between visits. Depending on the situation Some exceptions will be made if you were on vacation and the house is unoccupied.
We also have a lockout fee and same-day cancellation fee. If we show up to clean and cannot access your home we will spend 15 minutes trying to reach you. If we cannot reach you will be billed for the entire cleaning fee.
- Lockout fee is to include access to driveway if the team cannot access the driveway because you are snowed in or we do not have a clear path to the doorway.
- If you wish to terminate services we ask you to give us a 14-day notice so we can fill your spot.
